General FAQs - Question relevant to ShieldMe365 applications
The ShieldMe365 applications enable users of all levels to protect their private information using the powerful, patented Anonymous Key encryption Technology (AKT). The ShieldMe365 applications include ZECUREiT a secure version of Windows File Explorer; BIQSI provides for the transmittal and retention of secure pictures, and ZingMe is a secure text messaging application.
There are several key components to the ShieldMe365 applications:
- Encryption Algorithm: Encryption is a data manipulation technique that allows computer users to “scramble” information so that no one else can view the information.
- They use the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm, which is used by governments, military and enterprises. Depending upon the key length, cracking ShieldMe365’s AKT encryption could take hundreds of years even when using a supercomputer.
- Encryption Key: A unique file used by the encryption algorithm to scramble the information in the file.
- Key Escrow: ShieldMe365 users save their users' key using our proprietary escrow service that is guarded by AKT. By using this service, your key can be stored, recovered and/or retrieved for use in any of our other ShieldMe365 devices.
